Graphic Design Pricing & Fees

Graphic design worked is billed one of two ways, either by the hour or by the project. I am happy to provide you a written estimate or a formal quote. Generally, my hourly rate is $100.00 (significantly less than the local print shops and most other designers of my experience). I rarely charge for actual time I put in (you probably couldn't afford it!). Depending on the job, the circumstances, and my work load, I may be able to give you a break.

To request an online quote, fill out the Quote Request and either email, fax, or snail-mail it to me. I'll return it as quickly as I am able (usually in 24 hours but up to 4 business days, depending on printer response time).

Typical turn around time is one week for a brochure (11" x 8.5", double sided, tri-fold). Give me less time, I charge more. I do have arrangements with other fellow designers to share work if one of us gets "swamped" to assure that deadlines are met as often as possible.

Anything I have to purchase, I charge to you--fonts (rarely), photos/art, printing, etcÉ I have arrangements with several different types of printers (local and national) that allows me to quote printing at pretty much the same price as the printers quote (often less). The advantage is, I can take your job to the printer whose press best fits your job rather than forcing your job to fit the press a printer happens to have.
